Jose Pedreira

Jose Pedreira, a dedicated engineer originally from Venezuela, has called Katy, Texas home for the past several years. Alongside his wife, Fabi, he’s built a life filled with travel, career accomplishments, and family—raising two young children, ages six and two. Both he and Fabi have careers in engineering, with Jose working for Halliburton and Fabi for Siemens. Despite his demanding schedule, which includes a five-week rotation commuting to the Middle East, Jose has always dreamed of establishing roots in Texas and pursuing his passion for animals. Having grown up with dogs, he’s eager to return to his lifelong love of caring for animals through his new venture.

For Jose, opening their own Splash and Dash business is more than just a career change; it’s a chance to connect with his community in Katy and bring joy to local pets and their owners. As he works remotely while finalizing his U.S. citizenship, he’s thrilled at the prospect of making Splash and Dash a permanent part of his life, with Fabi’s support as she continues her work in engineering. Together, they are excited to create a welcoming space for fellow pet lovers and to bring the same warmth and dedication they’ve shared with animals throughout their lives to every customer they serve.
