Owner Story

Natalie Meridian Splash and Dash Store Owner

“In a way, I’m still doing nursing,” Natalie says. “I’m taking care of my little patients, and the parents as well,” she tells us, referring to her pet grooming clients.

Natalie’s compassion is apparent in the way she runs her shop. “I’m very passionate about taking care of people. Nothing feels better than when you know you’ve made a difference in that person’s life. I love when a customer picks up their dog and they’re like ‘oh my gosh they look so cute’ or, ‘my dog’s not nervous anymore!’ We know that we made that positive difference to somebody–that just makes my whole day.”

At home, Natalie has three of her own dogs. The first is Lola, a ten-year-old Yellow English Labrador Retriever who gave birth to Natalie’s other two pups. Jaxx and Marley, both eight-years-old make up the trio of dogs that customers can sometimes see in her shop. Customers who love dogs will find themselves in a like-minded atmosphere at Natalie’s grooming salon.

The shop has easy access in-and-out, with ten-minute parking spots right out front that makes it easy for members and their dogs. Members of the salon know they are in good hands. “I will treat your dogs like they are my own,” Natalie says. “I just really love them all.”
